Alistair Cook leads England to famous win in India (0)
December, 14 2012 / BY SUPERTEAMS

The England cricket team's victory in India is their first successful away trip to the country in 27 years. It was also India's first home series defeat since the great Australian team's visit in 2004, which boasted the crickiting greats Shane Warne, Glenn McGrath and Ricky Ponting.

After a heavy loss in the first game of a four test series, England looked to be up against it. But the team bounced back to win the next two games and hold on to a draw in the deciding match. There were stunning performances across the board, but no-one deserved the plaudits more than the superb Alistair Cook, who led from the front, scoring centuries in the first three games. Cook finished the series as player of the tournament as well as the top run scorer by a distance.

When you talk about leading the team to greatness, "Captain Cook" has led from the front with style.
